FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE PR Log (Press Release) – May 17, 2010 – Headsets come up with a pair of loudspeakers and are connected with the phones to make them able to be used. The main benefit of using these miniature speaker systems is that they provide their users with the availability of having a conversation with their near and dear ones keeping their hands free for performing other tasks. They are also used to enjoy the music when they are attached with other devices like CD player, audio amplifiers or radio. Nobody can ignore to notice the changes that came into existence in the field of IT in last few years. Telecommunication could not stay away from being affected by the revolution in the field of information technology. Undoubtedly, the introduction of phone headsets has also surprised the telephonic communication industry because these devices are really helpful in making users' conversation comfortable and convenient. Users can connect these ear buds with a range of devices such as amplifiers, computers, cell phones, CD players and many more. Their working system is very simple and hassle free. In this process, the sound is converted into electrical signals and later it reaches at the receiving end where incoming electronic signals are changed into sound. These days users get the chance to go through a huge variety of these headphones available in the market. There is a number of attractive and stylish models of ear phones available to choose from. These small devices are found in fragile and stunning look and have various attractive features such as sound controls and microphones. Wireless headphones are seen as an advanced version of headsets @(http://www.cordless-phones.uk.com/headsets). Users can do various tasks without connecting them to any other device. In the present time, users can find various technologies; however, bluetooth technology has become a hot deal these days. Using it users can enjoy the songs without making physical connection with their desktops or laptops. Using these ear buds, users can find a number of applications after connecting them with small portable devices like iPods, mobiles, desktops, laptops, DVD player, CD player and other portable audio players and MP3 players. These portable devices are used by most BPO and IT companies to provide their clients technical support through their voice process. Users can notice some similarities in the function of cordless phones and telephone headsets. For example, there are some similarities in the application used in the making of ear buds and cordless phones. Their availability enables the users to enjoy the privacy not disturbing someone who do not want to hear the music. We can say that these latest and small portable devices have added a special feature to the telecommunication industry. # # # Dennis Jaylon is a renowned business writer who has years of experience in writing technical reviews, product descriptions and product feature analysis of technical gizmos like Dect phones. TDK WR700 wireless headphones - about-electronics.eu

If you want to be wired for sound without any wires, TDK's WR700 wireless headphones are a decent – if pricey – option

TDK wireless headphones
TDK's Life on Record WR700 wireless headphones sounded much better than I expected, but I admit I'd feared the worst: wireless headphones are not generally known for high fidelity. TDK has got close by following Sennheiser and using the Kleer (PDF) wireless system, which can carry full CD-quality sound. This is impressive, and depressing. As with MP3 files, you need clever technology to get the sound quality back to the level that you could easily have started from. With the WR700 headphones, the benefit is that your movements are no longer encumbered by a physical wire from your MP3 player, hi-fi, laptop or whatever – basically, anything with a headphone socket. And in general, the greater the distance between you and your source, the nicer it is to be wireless. There are also drawbacks. The most obvious is that the transmitter must be plugged in to your MP3 player to send the signal to the headphones (or to several WR700 headphones). The transmitter is bigger than some low-end music players, does not lock into place and, annoyingly, has a rounded base so it doen't stand up. If you carry it around, it's one more thing to lose. Another disadvantage is that you become dependent on four AAA batteries: there are two in the transmitter and two in the headset. No power, no sound. Plug in the transmitter, turn on the headphones and the sound comes though in a second or two, but you can still run into problems. You can listen to music while roaming the house, but the sound drops out when the signal runs into the wrong arrangement of walls. Using the headphones walking around town, I suffered dropouts even with my Sony MP3 player in a shirt pocket. The WR700 headphones have a cushioned on-ear design: they don't enclose your ears to shut out external sounds, so you can still hear people talking. Also, there's no noise cancelling system to reduce tube or train sounds. This means you tend to turn the sound up (there's an up/down volume control on one earpiece), and find it sounds a bit too loud when the train stops. The sound quality will impress people who are used to the sort of earbuds shipped with Apple iPods and iPhones. The WR700s have good midrange definition, don't overemphasise the bass, and provide a moderate but acceptably realistic stereo soundstage. However, they're expensive at £129.99. You can get better sound quality from wired headphones that cost less, or you can get better sound quality plus noise cancelling for a similar price. In the end, it boils down to how much you value cordlessness. TDK's WR700 wireless headphones certainly do the job, but they're not a cheap option. Pros: wireless operation; comfortable to wear; smart appearance; good quality sound. Cons: large transmitter; need for AAA batteries; don't exclude external sounds; no noise cancelling for travel use; expensive relative to sound quality. TDK.com

Tenqa

We carry more and more music with us every day- MP3 players, cell phones, laptops, and more. We are also carrying a dizzying array of ways to play this all back- earphones, headphones, mini-speakers, big speakers, travel speakers, radio docks, stereo docks and more. What does the Tenqa SP-99 Bluetooth Speaker add to this mix?

Well, in a nutshell- wireless connectivity to all of your Bluetooth stuff. While it has both a stereo in and stereo out jack, and comes with a handy 15″ M-M 1/8″ stereo patch cord, its strength is that it connects easily to your Bluetooth gear- and as a bonus, can even act as a remote control if the Bluetooth device is AVRCP compatible (my HP Mini laptop is, my Blueberry Curve 8300 is not).

Let’s talk specs.  The SP-99 is packed with the 15″ patch cord, a nice long power supply (classic wall wart design), and a short instruction booklet. It can run on AC or 4AA batteries (not included).
